for sale from home...why you might ask? The FDA has decided that all small farmers along with egg ranches such as Norco Farms, need to pay an extra fee this year to help them finance the overseeing of egg producers to ensure you don't get salmonella. My chickens are free to run everyday in the field picking up bugs and grass and seeds, (and my garden sometimes) and are very healthy. I have not renewed my license to sell at the farmers market but I can sell from home. Let the big guys police themselves.
I use food grade oils to make all my products. The same coconut I use in soap I also use to cook with. I love coconut oil more than any oil because of the excellent qualities it had such as high omega 6 and oleic acid. Same things as you look for in fish oils except this smell great! I use it in every soap I make as this is what give soap a lather and bubbles. It is the part of soap that actually cleanses.
Hemp oils hae been used for centuries as a skin and hair tonic. Hemp has proteins which help your hair and nails grow. It is high in omega threes and is good for taking internally. I use it as an overnight hair soak, and it makes my hair feel great. It is known as an arthritis rub as it has essential faty acids which can help relieve pain. It has also been tried as a cancer medicine. While it has trace amounts of THC this helps prevent some of the side effects of chemo and THC has been used to shrink caner tumors in lungs and brain.
I have found that hemp oil is very conditioning to the skin and use it as a bath oil and in combinations with other oils. Hemp soaks in quickly while it maintains moisture at skin level. Perhaps it is all those efa's?
Whatever it is I am glad I tried it and hope you will too.
